Pastor Henry reminds us that God builds His mission through a network of different people with unique roles rather than through a solo effort. We can recognise our daily workplaces, campuses, and neighbourhoods are where ministry truly happens as we embrace our specific callings without trying to step into someone else's lane. So let’s reflect on who God has placed in your corner, in your circle, and coming behind you, actively stepping towards others relationally as a partner in God's kingdom.

After this, Paul stayed many days longer and then took leave of the brothers and set sail for Syria, and with him Priscilla and Aquila. At Cenchreae he had cut his hair, for he was under a vow. And they came to Ephesus, and he left them there, but he himself went into the synagogue and reasoned with the Jews. When they asked him to stay for a longer period, he declined. But on taking leave of them he said, “I will return to you if God wills,” and he set sail from Ephesus. - Acts 18:18-21 (ESV)

This week Pastor Henry challenges us how we respond when we see brokenness in our city. We are encouraged to move beyond anger, numbness, or despair and allow our internal distress to push us into active, patient daily engagement with the people around us. Let God's Word first transform you from the inside out, so that His love, grace, and compassion can flow naturally through you into every room and conversation you enter.

For as I passed along and observed the objects of your worship, I found also an altar with this inscription: ‘To the unknown god.’ What therefore you worship as unknown, this I proclaim to you. The God who made the world and everything in it, being Lord of heaven and earth, does not live in temples made by man, nor is he served by human hands, as though he needed anything, since he himself gives to all mankind life and breath and everything. - ACTS 17:23-25 (ESV)

This week Pastor Henry explores the power of choosing praise in the middle of difficult circumstances rather than waiting for circumstances to change. Worship is our response before a breakthrough occurs, not just after it. When we choose an attitude of gratitude and trust God ahead of the outcome, our faithful witness can bring hope and encouragement to those quietly watching and listening around us. You can praise God right where you are, trusting that He is writing your story and can use your faith to bring freedom to others.

About midnight Paul and Silas were praying and singing hymns to God, and the prisoners were listening to them,  and suddenly there was a great earthquake, so that the foundations of the prison were shaken. And immediately all the doors were opened, and everyone's bonds were unfastened. - Acts 16:25-26 (ESV)

This wee Pastor Henry helps us to understand that the conflict in life and the church does not have to break our mission, but can actually build and multiply it. Healthy relationships require walking through a process rather than avoiding tension. God remains sovereign over our lives and relationships. Even when things do not go as planned, God's mission over your life is constant, and He can use every challenge to redirect us toward His ultimate purpose.

 

And after some days Paul said to Barnabas, “Let us return and visit the brothers in every city where we proclaimed the word of the Lord, and see how they are.”  Now Barnabas wanted to take with them John called Mark.  But Paul thought best not to take with them one who had withdrawn from them in Pamphylia and had not gone with them to the work. - Acts 15:36-38 (ESV)

This week Stephanie explores how God designed family and what it means to keep Christ at the centre of all our relationships. Placing God first does not mean loving our families less, but rather frees them from carrying the weight of expectations that only God can fulfil. Jesus reorders our priorities and expands family, inviting everyone into a spiritual community connected through faith and grace. So put Christ at the centre of your life, allowing His love to shape how you care for, honour, and encourage those around you.

And his mother and his brothers came, and standing outside they sent to him and called him.  And a crowd was sitting around him, and they said to him, “Your mother and your brothers are outside, seeking you.”  And he answered them, “Who are my mother and my brothers?”  And looking about at those who sat around him, he said, “Here are my mother and my brothers!  For whoever does the will of God, he is my brother and sister and mother.” - Mark 3:31-35 (ESV)

This week our Logan church had the privilege of hearing the message from Pastor Brian Milligan from Every Nation Turkey.  Pastor Brian explores the vital call of outreach and sharing our faith with those who do not yet know the Lord. The Son of Man came to seek and save the lost - we are invited to partner with a Father who is always at work. We are encouraged to step into this divine partnership by simply using whatever practical gifts or skills are already in our hands - whether cooking food, using technology, or playing sports - to love and pray for the people around us. Reaching your city is ultimately God’s burden to carry, and He will faithfully give you the grace to share His love with your neighbours, colleagues, and family.

And Zacchaeus stood and said to the Lord, “Behold, Lord, the half of my goods I give to the poor. And if I have defrauded anyone of anything, I restore it fourfold.” And Jesus said to him, “Today salvation has come to this house, since he also is a son of Abraham. For the Son of Man came to seek and to save the lost.” - Luke 19:88-10 (ESV)

This week Pastor Henry explores the value of discipleship - defining it not as a simple task to check off or a program to consume, but as a lifelong relational apprenticeship toward Jesus. So shift from being mere consumers of church content to building genuine, life-on-life proximity with God and our spiritual family. Real discipleship requires systematically reordering our life to align with the character of Christ, walking so closely in His footsteps that we get "His dust" on us. Jesus does not demand perfection before inviting you closer - wherever you are on your journey, your next step is simply to move one step closer to Him.

This week Pastor Henry delves into the true meaning of worship. We are encouraged to bring our genuine lives, time, and heavy burdens directly to God. Laying our real struggles and pride before God is never a sign of weakness, but the exact place where heart change and true restoration begin.

On that day Gad went to David and said to him, “Go up and build an altar to the Lord on the threshing floor of Araunah the Jebusite.”So David went up, as the Lord had commanded through Gad. When Araunah looked and saw the king and his officials coming toward him, he went out and bowed down before the king with his face to the ground. - 2 Samuel 24:18-20 (ESV)

This week Pastor Henry focuses on what it practically looks like to live and walk with the Holy Spirit in our daily lives. Step away from performance or trying to look good, and instead choose a continuous posture of acknowledging, yielding to, and cooperating with the Spirit when our alarms go off on Monday morning and throughout the week. When we prepare our hearts with honesty, humility, and genuine expectation, a Spirit-empowered life can become as natural and beautiful as breathing.

So when they had come together, they asked him, “Lord, will you at this time restore the kingdom to Israel?” He said to them, “It is not for you to know times or seasons that the Father has fixed by his own authority. But you will receive power when the Holy Spirit has come upon you, and you will be my witnesses in Jerusalem and in all Judea and Samaria, and to the end of the earth.” - Acts 1:6-8 (ESV)

This week Pastor Henry challenges us to shift our perspective from simply believing in the Holy Spirit to truly knowing Him as a person. The Holy Spirit is not an energetic vibe or a lesser force, but a person who possesses a mind, emotions, and a will, and who is fully God - so invite Him into your everyday lives as a permanent resident. The Holy Spirit is closer than your own thoughts and deeply committed to your transformation, walking with you through every ordinary moment.

Nevertheless, I tell you the truth: it is to your advantage that I go away, for if I do not go away, the Helper will not come to you. But if I go, I will send him to you. And when he comes, he will convict the world concerning sin and righteousness and judgment: concerning sin, because they do not believe in me; concerning righteousness, because I go to the Father, and you will see me no longer; concerning judgment, because the ruler of this world is judged. - John 16:7-11 (ESV)
