Relationship Goals - Grace Under Pressure

This week Pastor JR helps us to remember that in Christ, we are all one body, uniquely gifted but united in purpose. Just like a body has many parts, each playing a crucial role, so do we as members of the church. Embrace the relationships you have within your community, knowing that despite our differences, it is Christ who binds us together. Let’s take small steps of faith towards unity, celebrating what we share in common—our love for Jesus. As we lift Him up, He will draw others to Himself, making our unity a powerful testimony to the world.

Relationship Goals - Dysfunctional Relationships

This week Pastor Henry helps us to remember the power of walking in the Spirit. Just as Joseph navigated challenging family dynamics and Paul reminded us to walk by the Spirit, you too can rise above any difficulties you face. When tensions arise or relationships feel strained, lean on God’s guidance. Know that God is at work in every situation, and as you rely on His strength, you can bring light and healing to those around you. 

Now Israel loved Joseph more than any other of his sons, because he was the son of his old age. And he made him a robe of many colors. But when his brothers saw that their father loved him more than all his brothers, they hated him and could not speak peacefully to him. - Genesis 37:3-4 (ESV)

Relationship Goals - Love in the Age of A.I.

This week Pastor Henry helps us to strive to embody God’s unconditional love, letting it guide our actions and interactions, whether at home, work, or school. Even in an age dominated by technology, we must ensure our use of it is honourable and reflective of our faith. By being set apart, useful, and ready for every good work, we can foster genuine, meaningful connections that honour God and enrich our lives. 

 

Have nothing to do with foolish, ignorant controversies; you know that they breed quarrels.  And the Lord's servant must not be quarrelsome but kind to everyone, able to teach, patiently enduring evil,  correcting his opponents with gentleness. God may perhaps grant them repentance leading to a knowledge of the truth,  and they may come to their senses and escape from the snare of the devil, after being captured by him to do his will. - 2 Timothy 2:23-26 (ESV)

Relationship Goals - Into Me See

This week Pastor Henry reminds us that love is our guiding principle and our greatest strength. Without love, our actions and achievements lose their true value. Love is patient, kind, and unselfish, bearing all things and enduring through every challenge. Let this agape love, the unconditional and sacrificial love that God has shown us through Jesus, be the foundation of all your relationships. Whether it's family love, deep friendships, romantic bonds, or loving those who are difficult to love, let God's love shine through you. Embrace the call to love one another deeply, as it reflects our true identity as disciples of Jesus. 

Love is patient and kind; love does not envy or boast; it is not arrogant or rude. It does not insist on its own way; it is not irritable or resentful; it does not rejoice at wrongdoing, but rejoices with the truth. Love bears all things, believes all things, hopes all things, endures all things. - 1 Corinthians 13:4-7 (ESV)

Keep The Fire Burning - The Truth Seekers

This week Stephanie helps to inspire us to be truth seekers—receptive, eager, and inquisitive. We are taught not to just hear the word; but receive it with your hearts, examine it, and allowed it to transform your lives. In a world filled with deception, God’s truth stands firm. Engage deeply with His word, ask questions, seek understanding, and let it shape your actions and decisions. Let’s keep the fire burning by pursuing the truth with passion and allowing God’s word to penetrate our hearts, bringing clarity, conviction, and transformation. Be encouraged to live out your faith boldly, knowing that God’s truth will always guide you and bring light to your path.

Keep The Fire Burning - Prison Praise: Gospel's Sustaining Fire

This week Pastor JR helps us to reflect on the story of Paul and Silas in the prison. They were unjustly imprisoned, yet they kept their spirits high, praying and singing hymns to God. Despite their shackles, they didn’t flee when an earthquake opened the prison doors, knowing that staying put could mean salvation for others. Their faith and resilience led to the conversion of their jailer and his entire household. Remember, in our toughest moments, praising God and waiting on His timing can turn our trials into testimonies. Trust that your faithfulness can inspire and lead others to Christ, even in the most unexpected circumstances.

Then he brought them out and said, “Sirs, what must I do to be saved?” And they said, “Believe in the Lord Jesus, and you will be saved, you and your household.” And they spoke the word of the Lord to him and to all who were in his house. And he took them the same hour of the night and washed their wounds; and he was baptized at once, he and all his family. - Acts 16:30-33 (ESV)

Keep The Fire Burning

This week Pastor JR reminds us of the transformative power of being in Christ. We are not defined by outward appearances but by the renewal of our hearts through Jesus. As we navigate our week, let's keep the fire of the Holy Spirit burning brightly within us, letting it fuel our passion and commitment to living out God's mission. Remember, we are not only reconciled with God but are also called to be agents of reconciliation, sharing the good news and love of Christ with everyone we encounter. Keep the fire burning, stay in Christ, and watch how He sustains and fuels your spirit to make a difference in the lives of others.

All this is from God, who through Christ reconciled us to himself and gave us the ministry of reconciliation; that is, in Christ God was reconciling the world to himself, not counting their trespasses against them, and entrusting to us the message of reconciliation. - 2 Corinthians 5:18-19 (ESV)

But God

This week Pastor JR speak about finding hope in God.No matter where you come from or the struggles you face, remember that God's grace is greater than any challenge. Whether it's feelings of guilt, loneliness, or weakness, there is always a "but God" moment waiting to transform your situation. Just as I found hope and healing through Christ despite a tumultuous past, you too can experience His immeasurable grace. Trust in God's strength, lean into His love, and let Him guide you through your week. Remember, He sees you, loves you, and will never leave you unchanged. Embrace His grace and let it carry you forward.

For by grace you have been saved through faith. And this is not your own doing; it is the gift of God, not a result of works, so that no one may boast. For we are his workmanship, created in Christ Jesus for good works, which God prepared beforehand, that we should walk in them. - Ephesians 2:8-10 (ESV)

 

Think Outside The Bucks - True Prosperity

This week Stephanie teaches us that true prosperity is not found in material wealth but in our relationships and faithfulness to God. Jesus encourages us to seek the Kingdom of God above all else, reminding us that earthly wealth is fleeting, but the bonds we build and the love we share endure eternally. As we navigate our financial and personal lives, let's strive to be faithful stewards of the resources God has entrusted to us, using them to foster community, support one another, and grow closer to His eternal purpose. Seek first His kingdom this week, and let God's abundant grace and wisdom guide your steps.

One who is faithful in a very little is also faithful in much, and one who is dishonest in a very little is also dishonest in much. If then you have not been faithful in the unrighteous wealth, who will entrust to you the true riches? And if you have not been faithful in that which is another's, who will give you that which is your own? No servant can serve two masters, for either he will hate the one and love the other, or he will be devoted to the one and despise the other. Think Outside The Bucks - The Money Chase

This week Pastor Henry helps us to reflect on our life and what we are chasing. Life is more than food or clothing—it's about seeking God's kingdom above all else. Instead of chasing money or material things, let's chase after God and His righteousness. Trust in Him to meet our needs and guide us. Live faithfully today, using your time and resources to honour God. Don't let worry steal your joy; instead, pray and trust that God has everything under control.

And do not seek what you are to eat and what you are to drink, nor be worried. For all the nations of the world seek after these things, and your Father knows that you need them. Instead, seek his kingdom, and these things will be added to you. - Luke 12:29-31 (ESV)
