The former priests were many in number, because they were prevented by death from continuing in office, but he holds his priesthood permanently, because he continues forever. Consequently, he is able to save to the uttermost those who draw near to God through him, since he always lives to make intercession for them. - Hebrews 7:23-25 (ESV)

The Lord said to Joshua, “Today I will begin to exalt you in the sight of all Israel, that they may know that, as I was with Moses, so I will be with you. And as for you, command the priests who bear the ark of the covenant, ‘When you come to the brink of the waters of the Jordan, you shall stand still in the Jordan.’” And Joshua said to the people of Israel, “Come here and listen to the words of the Lord your God.” - Joshua 3:7-9 (ESV)

Set Apart - Holiness Revealed
Monday Jan 22, 2024
Monday Jan 22, 2024
Join us at Logan as we continue with our current series, Set Apart. This week Pastor JR Rivero helps us to reflect on the biblical concept of holiness. It’s important to understand God's holiness as a foundational aspect for living a holy life. Be encouraged by the majesty and beauty of God, as his holiness is the source of His love and goodness. Everyone is already set apart by God's design so embrace your distinctiveness. God has created each person uniquely and for a specific purpose. This uniqueness is a testament to being made holy for God's pleasure and divine plan. It’s time to celebrate and appreciate the individuality that God has bestowed upon each of us, knowing that we are set apart for a purpose in His grand design.
The Lord spoke to Moses after the death of the two sons of Aaron, when they drew near before the Lord and died, and the Lord said to Moses, “Tell Aaron your brother not to come at any time into the Holy Place inside the veil, before the mercy seat that is on the ark, so that he may not die. For I will appear in the cloud over the mercy seat. But in this way Aaron shall come into the Holy Place: with a bull from the herd for a sin offering and a ram for a burnt offering. - Leviticus 16:1-3 (ESV)

Join us at Logan as we continue with our current series, Set Apart. This week Pastor Henry helps us to examine the serpent's cunning deception and Eve's choice to believe the serpent over God's commands. There is a deceptive nature and consequences of sin, particularly the loss of connection with God and right standing with Him. So when the woman saw that the tree was good for food, and that it was a delight to the eyes, and that the tree was to be desired to make one wise, she took of its fruit and ate, and she also gave some to her husband who was with her, and he ate. Then the eyes of both were opened, and they knew that they were naked. And they sewed fig leaves together and made themselves loincloths. And they heard the sound of the Lord God walking in the garden in the cool of the day, and the man and his wife hid themselves from the presence of the Lord God among the trees of the garden. - Genesis 3:6-8 (ESV)

Join us at Logan as we commence a new series, Set Apart. This week Pastor Henry delves into the biblical concept of holiness, highlighting God as the unique creator and urging a response of singing, declaring, and describing God's attributes. There’s an importance of gratitude in our songs, maintaining a heart of joy despite challenges, and choosing to focus on God's abundant blessings. Let's approach this year with excitement and a heart full of gratitude. In the face of challenges, let our songs be filled with joy, praising God for His abundant blessings. Remember, our response to God's holiness sets us apart for His glory and will.
Oh sing to the Lord a new song; sing to the Lord, all the earth! Sing to the Lord, bless his name; tell of his salvation from day to day. Declare his glory among the nations, his marvelous works among all the peoples! For great is the Lord, and greatly to be praised; he is to be feared above all gods. For all the gods of the peoples are worthless idols, but the Lord made the heavens. Splendor and majesty are before him; strength and beauty are in his sanctuary. Ascribe to the Lord, O families of the peoples, ascribe to the Lord glory and strength! Ascribe to the Lord the glory due his name; bring an offering, and come into his courts! Worship the Lord in the splendor of holiness; tremble before him, all the earth!- Psalm 96:1-9 (ESV)

GO - Ready Plan Go
Monday Nov 27, 2023
Monday Nov 27, 2023
Join us at Logan as we continue with our current series GO. This week Pastor Henry shares a powerful message on intentional planning and discipleship. It’s important to be a "make it happen" kind of person, with a focus on fruitful, purposeful, selfless, and God-glorifying plans. We need to count the cost before embarking on any endeavour. Place your hearts in God's hands, aligning your plans with His good and perfect will, be aware of discipleship opportunities, and be ready to lay down your life for Christ. What’s does God what said about your life?
For which of you, desiring to build a tower, does not first sit down and count the cost, whether he has enough to complete it? Otherwise, when he has laid a foundation and is not able to finish, all who see it begin to mock him, saying, ‘This man began to build and was not able to finish. - Luke 14:28-20 (ESV)
