Church in The Mess - Unity Amongst Believers

This week Pastor Henry focuses on the idea that life and relationships can be messy, but God sees you in whatever season you are walking through. We can learn from the Corinthian church - to rely on the Holy Spirit, and to lean into God as we navigate the messes of life. So you can bring your hurts, brokenness, disappointments, and other burdens to the foot of the cross, where Christ is waiting.

 

I appeal to you, brothers, by the name of our Lord Jesus Christ, that all of you agree, and that there be no divisions among you, but that you be united in the same mind and the same judgment.  For it has been reported to me by Chloe's people that there is quarreling among you, my brothers. - 1 Corinthians 1:10-11 (ESV)

GEN United: Missional Intergenerational Village

Join us at Logan as we are joined by special guest Pastor Brian Milligan from Every Nation Turkey. This week Pastor Brian encourages us to leave behind "stinking thinking" and a "victim mentality" in order to embrace a courageous and bold faith. God's vision is multi-generational and each generation has a part to play. It’s important we are passing on a spiritual legacy, including God's promises, His presence, and His word, so that the next generation can achieve greater things. So rust in the Lord, even during difficult times, and to be faithful stewards of the gospel, just as those who came before you were.

GEN United - Standing on Shoulders

This week Stephanie encourages us with a message about mentorship that lasts. We have an important role of biblical mentorship in developing spiritual growth and ensuring the gospel is passed down through generations. We are to first receive wisdom from those who have gone before us, to then respond by allowing that truth to transform our own character and actions, and finally, to release what we've learned by intentionally pouring into the lives of others. Consider who is speaking into your life and who you are investing in.

Show yourself in all respects to be a model of good works, and in your teaching show integrity, dignity, and sound speech that cannot be condemned, so that an opponent may be put to shame, having nothing evil to say about us. - Titus 2:7-8 (ESV)

GEN United - Sing, Cry, Enlarge, Stretch

This week Pastor Henry teaches us the need to make room for God and others in our schedules, hearts, and homes.  We can sing and cry aloud in all circumstances, even in seasons of brokenness and hurt, as an act of thanksgiving and faith in God's promises. Expand your spiritual, emotional, and relational bandwidth to make space for those who are not yet part of your community. Go deeper in prayer, God's word, and character, so that your “tent” can withstand growth. Let’s put our trust in God's plan for the church to spread out and possess the nations as we stretch our faith, compassion, generosity, and obedience, and to use them for God’s glory.

GEN United - Called and Chosen

Join us at Logan as we commence our new series, GEN United: Bridge Builders. This week Pastor Henry reminds us that God knew and consecrated us before birth, appointing us for a true purpose. God's calling is proactive and exists before any personal achievements, insecurities, or mistakes. We can embrace God's plan, step out in faith, and recognise that we are part of a chosen people, a multi-generational community designed by God for good works and for the transformation of communities, cities, and the world.

But the Lord said to me, “Do not say, ‘I am only a youth’;
for to all to whom I send you, you shall go,
and whatever I command you, you shall speak. Do not be afraid of them,
for I am with you to deliver you,

Love Actually - Missional Families

This week Pastor Henry explores the impact of daily habits on shaping our families, both biological and spiritual. Transforming into the likeness of Christ is not accidental, but an intentional and generational journey. God's mission begins within our families.  He is preparing us to walk in faith and carry that purpose into the world around us.

And these words that I command you today shall be on your heart. You shall teach them diligently to your children, and shall talk of them when you sit in your house, and when you walk by the way, and when you lie down, and when you rise. You shall bind them as a sign on your hand, and they shall be as frontlets between your eyes. You shall write them on the doorposts of your house and on your gates. - Deuteronomy 6:6-9 (ESV)

Love Actually - Missional Marriages

This week Pastor Henry continues the series by delving into Missional Marriages. Love originates from God and is given to us for the purpose of building His kingdom, which helps us show generosity, kindness, compassion, and forgiveness in our relationships. While marriage is a gift from God, the ultimate goal is to become more like Jesus and do God's will. 

And walk in love, as Christ loved us and gave himself up for us, a fragrant offering and sacrifice to God. - Ephesians 5:2 (ESV)

Love Actually - Missional Friendships

This week Stephanie explores the topic of missional friendship, challenging us to consider what true friendship looks like beyond surface-level connections and social media. We can embrace friendships that are necessary for our growth and formation, helping to refine our rough edges and sharpen us to be stronger.

Love Actually - Love on Mission

Join us at Logan as we commence our new series, Love Actually. This week, Pastor JR explores the true meaning of love and addresses how the word "love" is often misunderstood and misused in daily life. Love is not unreasonable - it is truly for God's kingdom. True, godly love, “love from above”, can guide you in life when we recognise its power for God's kingdom.

Love is patient and kind; love does not envy or boast; it is not arrogant or rude. It does not insist on its own way; it is not irritable or resentful; it does not rejoice at wrongdoing, but rejoices with the truth. Love bears all things, believes all things, hopes all things, endures all things.Love never ends… - 1 Corinthians 13:4-8a (ESV)

The King's Wallet - How God Invests

This week, Pastor Henry helps us to reflects on God's ownership of all things and our role as stewards of the resources entrusted to us. God gives generously, sacrificially, and with purpose - our giving back is an act of worship and a response to His faithfulness. Be challenged to examine where your true investments lie. Prioritise eternal treasures over earthly ones that fade and align your efforts with God's kingdom, rather than solely focusing on temporary pursuits.
