Tis' The Season - The Season Love Came Down

This week Pastor Henry helps us to remember the incredible truth that God’s love is unconditional, freely given, and abundant. God went above and beyond by sending His Son so that we could have eternal life. This love isn’t based on what we can do but on who God is. It’s a love that takes action and transforms us, calling us not only to receive it but to share it with others. In the busyness of this season, take a moment to reflect on this gift of grace and let it guide your heart, your relationships, and your purpose.

Occupy - Biblical View of Work

This week Pastor JR encouragers us that our work—no matter how big or small—is part of God’s greater purpose for our life. While work can sometimes feel like a drag or a burden, remember that God has designed it as an avenue for worship and stewardship. Even in challenging moments, you are being shaped and equipped for something greater. Your job is not just a task but an opportunity to reflect God’s creativity and purpose. 

Bondservants, obey in everything those who are your earthly masters, not by way of eye-service, as people-pleasers, but with sincerity of heart, fearing the Lord. Whatever you do, work heartily, as for the Lord and not for men, knowing that from the Lord you will receive the inheritance as your reward. You are serving the Lord Christ. For the wrongdoer will be paid back for the wrong he has done, and there is no partiality. - Colossians 3:22-25 (ESV)

Occupy - BAM: Beautiful and Meaningful

This week Pastor Henry reminds us of the importance of the "unsung heroes" in God’s greater story—ordinary people doing extraordinary things behind the scenes. We are called and equipped by God for our unique tasks and roles. Whether at work, at home, or in our community, our daily actions, when led by the Holy Spirit, can create beautiful and meaningful work that reflects God’s character. Let’s embrace every moment as an opportunity to worship God through our diligence, kindness, and the skills He’s given us. 

The Lord said to Moses,“See, I have called by name Bezalel the son of Uri, son of Hur, of the tribe of Judah, and I have filled him with the Spirit of God, with ability and intelligence, with knowledge and all craftsmanship, to devise artistic designs, to work in gold, silver, and bronze, in cutting stones for setting, and in carving wood, to work in every craft. - Exodus 31:1-5 (ESV)

Occupy Til I Come

his week Stephanie reminds us that God entrusts us with gifts and resources—not to keep hidden, but to grow and use for His kingdom. God calls us to be faithful stewards, investing our time, talents, and opportunities wisely, knowing that our work has eternal significance. Instead of playing it safe or holding back in fear, be encouraged to take bold, faith-filled steps, trusting that God rewards our efforts when we use what He’s given us to bless others. How can you be faithful with what’s in your hands today?

And he said to his disciples, “Therefore I tell you, do not be anxious about your life, what you will eat, nor about your body, what you will put on. For life is more than food, and the body more than clothing. Consider the ravens: they neither sow nor reap, they have neither storehouse nor barn, and yet God feeds them. Of how much more value are you than the birds! And which of you by being anxious can add a single hour to his span of life?If then you are not able to do as small a thing as that, why are you anxious about the rest? - Luke 12:22-26 (ESV)

Occupy - Work It and Keep It

This week Pastor Henry helps us to remember that we’re in our workplace, our community, and every encounter for a reason. God has positioned you there to be His representative, bringing light, joy, and purpose to each space. Let God’s love flow through you as you honour Him in all you do, filling each space with His presence and purpose. Be fruitful, build relationships, and let your work be an act of worship.

And God blessed them. And God said to them, “Be fruitful and multiply and fill the earth and subdue it, and have dominion over the fish of the sea and over the birds of the heavens and over every living thing that moves on the earth.” - Genesis 1:28 (ESV)

NOW Gen and Beyond

This week, Pastor Henry helps us to remember that Jesus exemplifies growth, wisdom, and humility, even in His youth. Despite His divine nature, He grew in wisdom and stature, embracing progress and honouring those around Him. Life’s challenges may tempt us to give up or stop growing, but let’s press on, knowing that God’s grace is there to strengthen us.  Trust that God is shaping something of eternal value in you that will bear fruit beyond what you can see.

And he said to them, “Why were you looking for me? Did you not know that I must be in my Father's house?” And they did not understand the saying that he spoke to them. And he went down with them and came to Nazareth and was submissive to them. And his mother treasured up all these things in her heart.And Jesus increased in wisdom and in stature and in favor with God and man. - Luke 2:49-52 (ESV)

NOW Gen - Deborah the Radical Leader

This week Pastor Henry inspires us to step out in faith, trusting that God will bring victory through our boldness. We can make an impact by listening to God's voice, praying with courage, and acting on the opportunities He places before us. Whether it's influencing those around you or stepping into new challenges, remember that your obedience not only transforms your life but also the lives of those you touch. Let’s love others radically, be courageous in our prayers, and embrace God's calling to make a difference in our world today!

NOW Gen - Live Like a King

This week Pastor Henry takes inspiration from the story of King Josiah, who tore down the idols that distracted his people from God. Just as Josiah didn’t shy away from taking action, let’s examine our own lives for any modern-day idols—whether it’s the lure of social media, the pursuit of comfort that may be diverting our attention from what truly matters. Remember, God is calling you to be a resilient disciple, living with intentionality and purpose, and making a difference wherever He has placed you. Take heart, and let’s continue to shatter any barriers that hold us back from wholeheartedly following God.

But the evil spirit answered them, “Jesus I know, and Paul I recognise, but who are you?” And the man in whom was the evil spirit leaped on them, mastered all of them and overpowered them, so that they fled out of that house naked and wounded. - Acts 19:13-16 (ESV)

NOW Gen - Power or Poser?

The Questions - Who's At The Centre Of It All?

Join us at Logan as we continue with our current series, The Questions: The Hard Questions of Faith. This week Pastor Henry reminds us to ground ourselves in Christ every day, not just on Sundays. As we face the challenges and busyness of life, God invites us into a deeper, daily relationship with Him, guiding us through His Word and prayer. When the world offers its distractions, we are called to stand firm in the truth of the gospel, filtering everything through God's Word. God's power, grace, and wisdom are available to us in every situation we face, and as we remain rooted in Him, we will experience the richness of His presence and walk in His purpose for our lives. So stay connected to Him, knowing that with God, nothing is too difficult, and His guidance will help us navigate whatever comes our way.

Therefore, as you received Christ Jesus the Lord, so walk in him, rooted and built up in him and established in the faith, just as you were taught, abounding in thanksgiving. See to it that no one takes you captive by philosophy and empty deceit, according to human tradition, according to the elemental spirits of the world, and not according to Christ.
