Are you on the journey of being a Disciple of Jesus?
No soldier gets entangled in civilian pursuits, since his aim is to please the one who enlisted him. An athlete is not crowned unless he competes according to the rules. It is the hard-working farmer who ought to have the first share of the crops. Think over what I say, for the Lord will give you understanding in everything. - 2 Timothy 2:4-7 (ESV)

The sea became rough because a strong wind was blowing. When they had rowed about three or four miles, they saw Jesus walking on the sea and coming near the boat, and they were frightened. But he said to them, “It is I; do not be afraid.” Then they were glad to take him into the boat, and immediately the boat was at the land to which they were going. - John 6:16-21 (ESV)

Are you prepared to be obedient when you hear His voice? Do you know what you look like in Gods eyes?
As long as I am in the world, I am the light of the world.” Having said these things, he spit on the ground and made mud with the saliva. Then he anointed the man's eyes with the mud and said to him, “Go, wash in the pool of Siloam” (which means Sent). So he went and washed and came back seeing. - John 9:5-7 (ESV)

Jesus then took the loaves, and when he had given thanks, he distributed them to those who were seated. So also the fish, as much as they wanted. And when they had eaten their fill, he told his disciples, “Gather up the leftover fragments, that nothing may be lost.” - John 6:11-12 (ESV)

The sick man answered him, “Sir, I have no one to put me into the pool when the water is stirred up, and while I am going another steps down before me.” Jesus said to him, “Get up, take up your bed, and walk.” And at once the man was healed, and he took up his bed and walked. - John 5:7-9 (ESV)

Join us at Logan as we start our new series, Miracles. This week Pastor Henry advises how we can expect to see God’s miracles. God works miracles today by the power of the Holy Spirit to bless His people and to advance His kingdom. Have you ever been motivated by what you want for yourself rather than the giver of that miracle? Is there a problem you are facing that only Jesus can resolve?
When the master of the feast tasted the water now become wine, and did not know where it came from (though the servants who had drawn the water knew), the master of the feast called the bridegroom and said to him, “Everyone serves the good wine first, and when people have drunk freely, then the poor wine. But you have kept the good wine until now.” This, the first of his signs, Jesus did at Cana in Galilee, and manifested his glory. And his disciples believed in him. - John 2:9-11 (ESV)

Wednesday Dec 21, 2022
Wednesday Dec 21, 2022
Join as at Logan as we start our new series, Christmas Unwrapped. This week Pastor Henry focuses on unwrapping the real meaning of Christmas starting with Logos, the written word of God. Do you get so busy during the Christmas season you forget what Christmas is truly about? God is the true Logos to which we centre our lives. In the beginning was the Word, and the Word was with God, and the Word was God. He was in the beginning with God. All things were made through him, and without him was not any thing made that was made. In him was life, and the life was the light of men. The light shines in the darkness, and the darkness has not overcome it. - John 1:1-5 (ESV)
