The Sacred Space - Solitude

Join us in Logan as we continue with our current series, The Sacred Space. This week Pastor Henry talks about solitude as a source of rest and renewal. Solitude provides a sacred space to be with God and offers refreshment for our souls. Solitude is not about loneliness but about seeking God's presence and finding rest in Him.  Have you considered stepping away from distractions so you can be closer to God?

The Sacred Space - Slow Down

The Sacred Space - Bearing Fruits

The Generosity Effect - Gospel Powered Generosity

Join as at Logan as we continue with our current series, The Generosity Effect. This week Pastor Henry shows us what it looks like to have Gospel powered generosity. Gospel powered generosity is a natural outpouring of gratitude and love as a response of what God has done through us and His son Jesus.  This can go beyond giving and being charitable. It comes from a heart that has been changed by the good news of Jesus as Christ.

The Generosity Effect - No Cap

Each one must give as he has decided in his heart, not reluctantly or under compulsion, for God loves a cheerful giver. And God is able to make all grace abound to you, so that having all sufficiency in all things at all times, you may abound in every good work. - 2 Corinthians 9:7-8 (ESV)

A Light in Babylon - Prayer That Propels

A Light in Babylon - The Vessels of God

Join us in Logan as we continue with our current series, A Light in Babylon. This week Pastor Henry looks into how God used Daniel to humble Belshazzar as he defiles God's vessels. Do we see the importance of these vessels that have been entrusted to us? Do we see the value that God has placed in each and every person around us? Every creature is required to give glory to its creator. The breath of the creature should praise its creator. How should we conduct ourselves as ones that are made in the image of God? 

 

And you his son, Belshazzar, have not humbled your heart, though you knew all this, but you have lifted up yourself against the Lord of heaven. And the vessels of his house have been brought in before you, and you and your lords, your wives, and your concubines have drunk wine from them. A Light in Babylon - Dens and Windows

This week Pastor Henry talks about Daniel's unwavering devotion to God and his commitment to prayer.  His faith in God wasn't determined by what society was trying to mold him into because he was already molded by God. What are daily things that we are doing to posture ourselves towards God? Has God molded you in a specific way to lean on Him?

Then, at break of day, the king arose and went in haste to the den of lions. As he came near to the den where Daniel was, he cried out in a tone of anguish. The king declared to Daniel, “O Daniel, servant of the living God, has your God, whom you serve continually, been able to deliver you from the lions?” 21 Then Daniel said to the king, “O king, live forever! 22 My God sent his angel and shut the lions’ mouths, and they have not harmed me, because I was found blameless before him; and also before you, O king, I have done no harm. -Daniel 6:19-22 (ESV)
