Monday Sep 28, 2020
Monday Sep 28, 2020
Join us at Every Nation Logan as we continue our current series, The Lord's Prayer. This week Henry advises what can happen when we trust God and allow Him to lead us where He needs us to be. The goal of the enemy is to deceive us and bring doubt, so we need God’s protection against temptation and evil. When God leads, it's always the right way. It may not necessarily be the shortest way, but it's the best way for us.
And the tempter came and said to him, “If you are the Son of God, command these stones to become loaves of bread.” But he answered, “It is written, “‘Man shall not live by bread alone, but by every word that comes from the mouth of God.’” - Matthew 4:3-4 (ESV)

Monday Sep 28, 2020
Monday Sep 28, 2020
Join us as we continue our current series, The Lord's Prayer. This week Pastor Neli makes reference to bread as our source of sustenance. Scripture will state bread is Jesus himself. In saying this, Jesus is both our provision and our provider. If we look at provision without looking at the provider, we will never be fulfilled. Jesus is more than enough for us.
If you want other people to discover the daily bread that can be found in Jesus, one of the best ways you can do that is to be the source of bread for others.
Jesus then said to them, “Truly, truly, I say to you, it was not Moses who gave you the bread from heaven, but my Father gives you the true bread from heaven. For the bread of God is he who comes down from heaven and gives life to the world.” They said to him, “Sir, give us this bread always.” - John 6:32-34 (ESV)

“And when you pray, do not heap up empty phrases as the Gentiles do, for they think that they will be heard for their many words. Do not be like them, for your Father knows what you need before you ask him. Pray then like this:

When was the last time you allowed yourself to be impressed by God, both in awe of who he is and in terms of moulding and shaping to who you’re meant to be? Can people see God’s rulership in you and in your environment?
“Blessed are you when people hate you and when they exclude you and revile you and spurn your name as evil, on account of the Son of Man! Rejoice in that day, and leap for joy, for behold, your reward is great in heaven; for so their fathers did to the prophets. - Luke 6:22-23 (ESV)

There are a plethora of images that come up when we say the Name of God because He tends to be misrepresented. Hallowed means sacred and ultimate. When we think of the word hallowed, we think of ultimate adoration because God’s name holds ultimate adoration. How is His name hallowed in your life?
Therefore God has highly exalted him and bestowed on him the name that is above every name, so that at the name of Jesus every knee should bow, in heaven and on earth and under the earth, and every tongue co
