Unto Us - A Child is Born A Son is Given

There’s a rarity of stillness and waiting in our fast-paced world but we can embrace stillness as a part of your Christian lifestyle. Continue working and building during waiting seasons, making room for moments of stillness to connect with God. It’s important to show patience, obedience, and finding purpose in the preparation. In the midst of waiting, we find purpose; in stillness, we connect with God.

How To Make - God’s Masterpiece

Join us in Logan as we continue with our current series, How To Make. This week Pastor Henry explores the theme of being created by God to create good things and how we are formed anew in Christ Jesus, shedding our old ways and behaviours.  It is important to make daily choices that reflect this transformation. As God's masterpiece, we are called to treat others with love, respect, and generosity. We are to express gratitude and love to our loved ones and make intentional efforts to reflect Christ's love to those around us. We are God's masterpiece. When Christ is in us, there should be a change in the way that we are.  Be encouraged to embrace the new creation in Christ and let it shine through your actions and words.

How To Make - Make Beautiful Stuff

This week Pastor Henry's helps us to focus on the idea that every individual has a unique purpose and the capacity to create beautiful things. We exist to make beautiful things, and our worth is defined by God's truth, not external judgments. It’s important to recognise your individual calling and gifts, understanding that you are part of God's larger plan. Be encouraged and embrace your calling with the unique gifts He has given you, for you exist to make beautiful things.

How To Make - Meaningful Work

This week Pastor Henry explores the significance of God's creation of the humanity and the world around us.  We should be in awe of God's creations. Our purpose lies in reflecting God's image through meaningful work. As humans we are entrusted with the responsibility to be stewards and co-labourers in continuing God's creation, cultivating it, and multiplying. As beings made in God's image, we have a unique purpose in contributing positively to the world. How is God’s presence driving your purpose?

And God said, “Let the earth bring forth living creatures according to their kinds—livestock and creeping things and beasts of the earth according to their kinds.” And it was so.And God made the beasts of the earth according to their kinds and the livestock according to their kinds, and everything that creeps on the ground according to its kind. How To Make - Created to Workship

Join us in Logan as we commence our new series, How To Make. This week Pastor Henry delves into the idea that work is a powerful form of worship. There is a need for everyone to see their daily tasks as opportunities for devotion to God. Our vocation, which includes our jobs and professions, should be viewed as a calling from God. Be encouraged to make choices that reflect your faith in the classroom, in your workplace, in your vocation, and to recognise that God is with you wherever you go. Our work should be done with devotion and honour for God.  In the midst of life's daily tasks, be sure to make your work an act of worship and a reflection of your faith.

Now out of the ground the Lord God had formed every beast of the field and every bird of the heavens and brought them to the man to see what he would call them. And whatever the man called every living creature, that was its name. The man gave names to all livestock and to the birds of the heavens and to every beast of the field.
