Monday Mar 11, 2024
Join us at Logan as we continue with our current series, We Are. This week Pastor Henry focuses on the significance of family within the context of discipleship. Embrace the truth that the church is not just a gathering of individuals but a spiritual family united by a common bond in Christ. Let the values of love, support, and accountability within this family inspire you to deepen your connections and foster genuine relationships. Take comfort in knowing that you are not alone in your journey; your fellow brothers and sisters in Christ are here to walk alongside you, offering encouragement, prayers, and a listening ear.
Let love be genuine. Abhor what is evil; hold fast to what is good. Love one another with brotherly affection. Outdo one another in showing honor. Do not be slothful in zeal, be fervent in spirit, serve the Lord. Rejoice in hope, be patient in tribulation, be constant in prayer. Contribute to the needs of the saints and seek to show hospitality. - Romans 12:9-13 (ESV)

We Are - Outreach

Monday Mar 04, 2024
This week Henry emphasises the importance of seeing ourselves as disciples of Jesus and living out Jesus' purpose in our lives. While reaching out to others may come with its own set of challenges, it's essential to remember that it's not just a task for specific people, but something that every disciple of Jesus is called to do. Whether it's fear or uncertainty holding us back, we must recognise that our purpose in reaching out goes beyond simply making friends or fitting in. Like Jesus, we should see those around us not just for who they appear to be, but for the potential they hold, the struggles they face, and the desire to belong and make a difference. With this perspective, we can step into our role as ambassadors of Christ, reaching out with love and compassion, just as Jesus did.
After this he went out and saw a tax collector named Levi, sitting at the tax booth. And he said to him, “Follow me.” And leaving everything, he rose and followed him. And Levi made him a great feast in his house, and there was a large company of tax collectors and others reclining at table with them. And the Pharisees and their scribes grumbled at his disciples, saying, “Why do you eat and drink with tax collectors and sinners?” And Jesus answered them, “Those who are well have no need of a physician, but those who are sick. I have not come to call the righteous but sinners to repentance.” - Luke 5:27-32 (ESV)

While walking by the Sea of Galilee, he saw two brothers, Simon (who is called Peter) and Andrew his brother, casting a net into the sea, for they were fishermen. And he said to them, “Follow me, and I will make you fishers of men.” Immediately they left their nets and followed him. And going on from there he saw two other brothers, James the son of Zebedee and John his brother, in the boat with Zebedee their father, mending their nets, and he called them. Immediately they left the boat and their father and followed him. - Matthew 4:18-22 (ESV)

And he who was seated on the throne said, “Behold, I am making all things new.” Also he said, “Write this down, for these words are trustworthy and true.” And he said to me, “It is done! I am the Alpha and the Omega, the beginning and the end. To the thirsty I will give from the spring of the water of life without payment. The Lord said to Joshua, “Today I will begin to exalt you in the sight of all Israel, that they may know that, as I was with Moses, so I will be with you. And as for you, command the priests who bear the ark of the covenant, ‘When you come to the brink of the waters of the Jordan, you shall stand still in the Jordan.’” And Joshua said to the people of Israel, “Come here and listen to the words of the Lord your God.” - Joshua 3:7-9 (ESV)

Set Apart - Holiness Revealed
Monday Jan 22, 2024
Monday Jan 22, 2024
Join us at Logan as we continue with our current series, Set Apart. This week Pastor JR Rivero helps us to reflect on the biblical concept of holiness. It’s important to understand God's holiness as a foundational aspect for living a holy life. Be encouraged by the majesty and beauty of God, as his holiness is the source of His love and goodness. Everyone is already set apart by God's design so embrace your distinctiveness. God has created each person uniquely and for a specific purpose. This uniqueness is a testament to being made holy for God's pleasure and divine plan. It’s time to celebrate and appreciate the individuality that God has bestowed upon each of us, knowing that we are set apart for a purpose in His grand design.
The Lord spoke to Moses after the death of the two sons of Aaron, when they drew near before the Lord and died, and the Lord said to Moses, “Tell Aaron your brother not to come at any time into the Holy Place inside the veil, before the mercy seat that is on the ark, so that he may not die. For I will appear in the cloud over the mercy seat. But in this way Aaron shall come into the Holy Place: with a bull from the herd for a sin offering and a ram for a burnt offering. - Leviticus 16:1-3 (ESV)

Join us at Logan as we continue with our current series, Set Apart. This week Pastor Henry helps us to examine the serpent's cunning deception and Eve's choice to believe the serpent over God's commands. There is a deceptive nature and consequences of sin, particularly the loss of connection with God and right standing with Him. Be encouraged you can choose God's word, character, and holiness over the deceptive narratives of the world. So when the woman saw that the tree was good for food, and that it was a delight to the eyes, and that the tree was to be desired to make one wise, she took of its fruit and ate, and she also gave some to her husband who was with her, and he ate. Then the eyes of both were opened, and they knew that they were naked. And they sewed fig leaves together and made themselves loincloths. And they heard the sound of the Lord God walking in the garden in the cool of the day, and the man and his wife hid themselves from the presence of the Lord God among the trees of the garden. - Genesis 3:6-8 (ESV)

Monday Jan 08, 2024
Join us at Logan as we commence a new series, Set Apart. This week Pastor Henry delves into the biblical concept of holiness, highlighting God as the unique creator and urging a response of singing, declaring, and describing God's attributes. There’s an importance of gratitude in our songs, maintaining a heart of joy despite challenges, and choosing to focus on God's abundant blessings. Let's approach this year with excitement and a heart full of gratitude. In the face of challenges, let our songs be filled with joy, praising God for His abundant blessings. Remember, our response to God's holiness sets us apart for His glory and will.
Oh sing to the Lord a new song; sing to the Lord, all the earth! Sing to the Lord, bless his name; tell of his salvation from day to day. Declare his glory among the nations, his marvelous works among all the peoples! For great is the Lord, and greatly to be praised; he is to be feared above all gods. For all the gods of the peoples are worthless idols, but the Lord made the heavens. Splendor and majesty are before him; strength and beauty are in his sanctuary. Ascribe to the Lord, O families of the peoples, ascribe to the Lord glory and strength! Ascribe to the Lord the glory due his name; bring an offering, and come into his courts! Worship the Lord in the splendor of holiness; tremble before him, all the earth!- Psalm 96:1-9 (ESV)
