Firm Foundations - Repentance and Baptism

This week Stephanie helps us to remember that God's grace is not a free pass to stay the same—it’s an invitation to transformation. Just as repentance is a complete turn towards God, let your heart, mind, and soul be fully positioned in His direction. When we surrender to Him, we are no longer enslaved by sin but walk in the freedom Christ has given us. Let us mbrace that freedom, live with purpose, and reflect the power of a life transformed by God. 

What shall we say then? Are we to continue in sin that grace may abound?  By no means! How can we who died to sin still live in it?  Do you not know that all of us who have been baptized into Christ Jesus were baptized into his death?  We were buried therefore with him by baptism into death, in order that, just as Christ was raised from the dead by the glory of the Father, we too might walk in newness of life. - Romans 6:1-4 (ESV)
